An untimely fall led to a broken left wrist and subsequent surgery.
Nana has shown amazing courage, a positive attitude and a pain threshold that is off the charts. She has hardly taken any pain medication through the whole surgery and rehab experience.
Things are looking good with the rehab and the mobility is coming back. So much so that her physiotherapist says she's miles ahead of other radial fracture patients. Nana you're an inspiration to us all, except for the part where you broke that bone.

Go Mom! I was so excited to hear that you are returning to normal use of your hand- you have the splint off and are getting the mobility back! Yay!!! Good for you!!!!! And thanks for the post Dad to record this exciting event. Love you both:)
It's only because I know some good doctors...
I know that the wrist has been tough to deal with but it's been great to see you keep a positive attitude and follow the doctor's orders. It's also good to see that you haven't missed a beat despite the wrist making it tough to do everything you've wanted too.
So painful! I'm glad you're through the worst part of it.
