I was very impressed by the First Presidency Message for January by Pres. Monson. It was called 'Living the Abundant Life'. We want to achieve all we can in our mortal journey, and Pres. Monson gives a simple but very effective way to make this happen.
A - for an Attitude that's positive. We all face challenges. But far more important than the challenge itself is how we react to it. We can choose to be positive or negative. If we're positive, we're far more likely to achieve the abundant life, as well as influence others for good.
B - for Belief in yourself. This is part of the principle of agency. If we believe in ourselves and visualize ourselves succeeding, we achieve great things.
C - for Courage to make difficult choices and keep moving forward even when we face great opposition and some failure.
I would encourage all of us to take these words from the Lord's prophet and use them to evaluate our own lives. The promise is that we can have the abundant life if we follow these ABC's.

I like how he condenses it all into such simple steps and then makes it easy for us to remember.
This was a really good talk!
I concur with your concise review. We've now heard from our prophet and from a medical doctor. Let's follow their counsel.
