Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm surprised no one else has posted on this yet. But to all of our Canadian friends and family, I hope the turkey and pie is great!

Thanks, Mr. Puente.
This is the first year that we have not had turkey for Thanksgiving. We had beef on the bun - courtesy of Jason Thompson in Slave Lake where several of us went for the blessing of Katie & Jason's baby boy - Liam James. The food was great & everybody brought something for all to enjoy. Kudos to Elena who brought FOUR pies -pumpkin, apple, pecan, raspberry. A very nice day-trip from Edmonton. We doubled the attendance in Church. Jason conducted the Sacrament meeting, and blessed his new son. Grandpa was invited to be in the prayer circle. Katie played the piano, then went to her responsibility in the Primary. So, Monday Grandpa & I , after serving brunch to Karyn, Jim, Elena had dinner alone - too beat to do otherwise. The menu included chicken, mashed potato, yams, harvard beets, corn, bean salad, plus peaches, ice cream & rollo cookies for dessert. Great meal & then we sang two Thanksgiving hymns -a capella!
Thanks for acknowledging Canadian Thanksgiving.
