Life on Another Planet?

They've found a planet orbiting a star called Gliese 581, which is the 117th closest star to the Earth at about 20 light years away. Normally this wouldn't be especially big news, but this planet is in what they call the habitable zone. This means that the water on the planet should be at just the right temperature to remain liquid instead of freezing or boiling away. This as we know is essential for life! We don't know anything about this planet besides that, but there could be anything on there! The possibilities are endless.
